FULL CONTAINER LOAD - FCL

An FCL (Full Container Load) is a shipment large enough to fill the entire space of a 20ft or 40ft container. There is a fixed flat rate since one shipper is paying for the whole container space. FCLs can reduce the risk of cargo damage and allow quicker transit times since the entire container is directly transported to its final destination.

LESS THAN A CONTAINER LOAD - LCL

An LCL (Less than a container load) is a shipment that is not large enough to fill a 20ft or 40ft shipping container. Due to its size, the cargo can be grouped with other cargo to fill a single container. LCL shipping saves you money without purchasing larger volumes since the shipper only pays for the space they use.
